Lezlist -- A discussion list for lesbians over forty

About Lezlist

Lezlist was established by an informal group of feminist lesbians over forty who have been socially and politically active in Sydney, Australia since 1987. In 2001 our group, Ten Forty Matrix, established a website www.olderdykes.org to publish news, views and stories from older dykes around the world. Until recently, we had a Talkback Forum on the website where older dykes who subscribed could log on to vent, chat, rant, gossip and debate issues that matter to us. The most popular topics on the Talkback Forum were Lesbian sex; Lesbian marriage – who wants it?; Am I a Real Lesbian?; Coming out; Lesbians born female; The bicycle; Dykes’ dictionary and When it’s my time, how do I want to be farewelled? We decided to replace the Talkback Forum with Lezlist to encourage more older lesbians to participate in discussions and debates on issues we face in work, life and at home. Using Lezlist

To post a message to all the list members, send email to lezlist@olderdykes.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to Lezlist

Subscribe to Lezlist by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the members list is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Please enter a privacy password below. This should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request an email to be sent to you with your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
